On behalf of the University of Western Macedonia and the study program CREATIVE WRITING, ARTS AND HUMANITIES which I have the honor to be the Director, I would like to congratulate you on your admission to the University of Western Macedonia.

Allow me to welcome you and wish you a good and productive attendance.

Contemporary needs for studies in Creative Writing and particularly at a high level of specialization in the field of Humanities, Arts and Sciences of Education lead to the quest of executives who will be able to meet the demands of the creative industry. In modern globalized market, the need to produce literary texts, theatrical and alternative arts (comics, song lyrics, advertising texts, etc.), requires specialized staff to man such positions.

The CREATIVE WRITING, ARTS AND HUMANITIES study program provides high-level studies with a modern curriculum. The main goal is to train high-level scientists and writers in the direction of writing (academic and literary), and to offer specialized knowledge in the fields of education and culture. The degree program aims to provide internationally recognized studies in the production of creative texts that will promote literary innovation and research.

Upon completion of the CREATIVE WRITING, ARTS AND HUMANITIES degree program, graduates will have the opportunity to work for international publishing houses in key positions (as consultants or editors). They will also be able to work in various fields as teachers, applying the theoretical and practical principles of Creative Writing to the teaching process.

Finally, allow me to assure you that I but as well as the rest of my colleagues and the other teaching and administrative staff will be available for any issue that may arise during your attendance.
